Meet the team

Chris Quirk

Chris has taken pleasure in leading the TTW committee since it began in 2007 because this team of women selflessly give themselves to serving the Lord they love. Chris is passionate about growing women’s Biblical understanding, and developing their pastoral skills so they can more effectively serve the Lord Jesus. Her own theological understanding was firmly established when she studied for a Bachelor of Theology. Chris always enjoys teaching the Bible and meeting up with women. She is (almost) retired from school teaching and spends many a delightful hour with her grandchildren. Chris and Mick have attended Blacktown East Presbyterian church for many years.

Deb has been part of the TTW committee for around 15 years and loves seeing women of all ages better equipped to serve in their churches and serve their God. In her spare time Deb loves running, gardening, reading and eating out in Balmain.

Fiona serves alongside her husband Greg at Wentworthville Presbyterian Church in Western Sydney. She has a deep passion for God’s word, for helping people to know Jesus through the Bible, and encouraging people to think theologically about all of life. She values the crucial role of all members of the body of Christ and seeks especially to encourage women in using their gifts to benefit Christ’s church, to his glory. Fiona has a Graduate Diploma of Divinity, is a mum to four amazing boys and works part-time as a primary school teacher.
